Elizabethan Era  the Elizabethan period has provided history with a rich and colourful culture, a culture that includes unique clothing,the origins of theatre and the expansion of the English Renaissance movement and exploring the new world (sailers ). status levels                                                 The poor Life for ordinary people was often hard and the number of poor people increased when Queen Elizabeth was in power. Unlike now, there was no welfare system or support for anyone.Poverty was mostly considered to be your own fault in Elizabethan times. Reasons why there was increase in poverty. Rising population -  The population rose by a million during the Elizabethan period. Because there was more people, there was more demand for goods, and so prices rose. social - Girls had to do exactly as their father told them and this included marrying the man their father chose for them.Even when married, a women was not free. She had to do as her husband wished. She was not allowed out on her own and was not often seen by people other than her own family. Schools Greek schools were small. They had only one teacher and about ten or twenty boys. The schools were not free and so only the rich could really afford to send their children to school. The children did not need much school equipment as they had to learn everything off by heart. When they needed to, they wrote on wooden boards covered with layers of wax. They used a wooden pen called a stylus with a sharp end for writing and a flat end for 'rubbing out'. The wax was melted and reapplied from time to time. Boys and Girls Education was also different for boys and girls. Boys were educated to become good citizens and take part in the public life of the city state.

How many people have been fatally stabbed this year in London? At least 46 people have been fatally stabbed in London since the beginning of the year. So far in 2018 there have been 1,296 stabbings in London up to the end of April, according to official statistics from the Met Police. DUE TO THIS RISING ISSUE I FEEL THERE IS A NEED FOR AN AWARENESS CALL TO THIS PROBLEM! Hence the reason for why i call this project Game over, Game over is a project about knife crimes and its effect on families and society members, In this piece we will explore how peer pressure and wrong decisions can lead to different situations. the main audience focus of this piece are teenagers and parents. As this is an ensemble piece i will need twelve actors for the show, the rehearsal / performance length will be no longer than a week long and the equity job minimum payment for an actor is £333 a week.
